Pink is such a fantastic color; all shades of it. And the rose gold! Which, is the focal color of this piece. It contrasts the pinks with the hints of yellow and gold, yet is also somewhat pink, which reflects the outer hues of tourmaline, fuchsia and metallic pink. Using a blowdryer, I pushed the gold into the pinks slowly across the diagonal canvas. This caused the paint to slide instead of roll, giving the more gaseous, cloud-like appearence. They are the dancing flames of “Dragon Fire”.
