While growing up in Southwest Florida, Greg began his artistic journey through sketching and shading detailed comic characters using graphite. For all of his young life, he followed in his mother's and grandfather's footsteps, practicing many creative mediums. His mother, Joan, could make just about anything into a beautiful work of art—her sheer talent was endless. And his grandfather, Austin, was a life-long woodworker and carpenter, with whom Greg spent so much time, building all sorts of things.

Greg learned so much from them both through the years. And from that experience, art became so natural to him that he was able to adeptly express his own creative mind in many ways, not only in the physical realm but also the digital, where he studied 3D modeling and animation throughout his education.

And then, during his first years of college, Greg realized his true passion for color! Having spent so much time working with graphite and charcoal, he started to expand his focus into using acrylic paints, colored pencils, and chalk pastels, bringing brightly hued vibrancy into his work. Through the years, he picked up more trades and talents, such as sculpting, pottery, carpentry, interior design, home renovation, and landscaping. Now, fast forward 20 years to the discovery of abstract paint pouring! The art form that truly captivated Greg's adoration for expressive color.
